Tess is a 21-year-old New York City–based singer/songwriter recognized for her commanding stage presence, elite professionalism, and powerhouse 3½-octave vocal range. Trained since the age of nine, she began performing in the Hudson Valley, NY, where her early work quickly caught the attention of renowned vocal coach Machan Taylor. Under Taylor’s mentorship for over a decade, Tess developed the technical mastery, stylistic agility, and emotional depth that now set her apart in both live and studio settings.

By 13, she was performing professionally with bands spanning 80’s hair metal to high-level NY/NJ event acts. At 16, she expanded into New York City’s West Village scene, establishing herself as a dynamic and reliable performer. Though awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music as a Performance major, Tess chose to move to NYC at 19 to pursue her work and artistry full-time after connecting with producer Scott Jacoby. She has since spent three years collaborating with Jacoby on original material and high-level session work.

Currently a featured member of the iconic Café Wha? house band, Tess performs regularly at the historic West Village venue known for launching legendary artists. In addition to her residency, she performs extensively with major event and entertainment companies, including On the Move Entertainment, Café Wha Entertainment, Up All Nighters Band, Paradigm, and Mod Society, delivering high-level performances at luxury events, private engagements, at major venues throughout the United States. Her touring and performance credits include collaborations with rock luminaries such as Jon Anderson of Yes, Gene Ween of Ween, and Donald Fagen of Steely Dan.

An in-demand session vocalist, Tess records both lead and background vocals for albums and commercial projects, with credits including work for CBS. Known for her fast harmony stacking, tight blend capability, and efficient studio workflow, she is equally comfortable tracking remotely or in high-pressure studio environments.

With national touring experience, Tess is actively expanding her footprint beyond the tri-state area and seeking new collaborations with entertainment agencies, touring acts, producers, and personal representation.
